Join Eternal Hope Equestrian Centre at the Higher Ground Fair and meet the three dappled amigos from Colorado, Jet, Pike and Maverick. All three horses are remarkable Percherons and each have a different story to tell.... Jet’s is like something from a Marvel comic, Pike’s is that of a sport’s page, and Maverick, well, he hasn’t been given the opportunity to shine but he is eager to make his mark!
From saving an unknown number of lives and working hard with the Amish to winning countless championships across the United States and Canada, Jet and Pike are a dynamic duo.
Christy Staab and Shandy Staab-Daubert are 3rd and 4th generation professional equine handlers. They endeavor to blend the wisdom of old tried and true equine training techniques with modern methods and theologies. Much attention is given to the emotional and physical well-being of their equine partners. The relationship they and their horses share is one of mutual respect, trust and ultimately love.
